Building maintenance can extend the life of your roof and prevent future leaks from occurring which are more costly. Leaks can incur additional costs beyond the repair; interior damages and remediation work as well as business and operation disruptions.
Semi Annual or Annual roof maintenance is recommended for all roofs.
Basic maintenance items that caught early can save costly future repairs include:
- Debris on the roofs clogging drains
- Vegetation found on a roof that can lead to roots embedding into the membrane or impeding the flow of water in the drainage system
- Failing caulking in the building envelope and around penetrations
- Poor drainage leading to standing water on the roof

- Exposed holes on the exterior building or roofing system
- Blisters found in the roofing system caused by moisture underneath the membrane
